Ponsonby Full RenovationIn collaboration with Lewis Build, we joined forces to breathe new life into a once modest two-bedroom home nestled in the heart of Ponsonby, transforming it into a beautiful modern masterpiece. As Kiel Marshall describes, "This project was truly a labour of love," reflecting on the intricacies that defined the project's journey. Through a process of partial demolition and extensive remodelling, the home evolved into a spacious haven featuring four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, showcasing the team's unwavering commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.
"Everything required extensive planning," remarks Marshall, highlighting the meticulous approach taken to navigate the complexities of working within the constraints of a 'special character' zone. The design, overseen by Kraftworx Architecture, balanced the preservation of the neighbourhood's distinctive charm with the integration of contemporary elements, resulting in a home that seamlessly blends into its surroundings and exudes modern elegance. With generous outdoor living areas seamlessly connected to light-filled interiors, the home offers an inviting sanctuary for its inhabitants, as Marshall notes, "Every aspect required absolute precision."
